Demand Justice for a Dog that was Tied to a Tree and Shot

Law enforcement agents raided a sprawling dog breeding ranch in East Texas after allegations of severe animal cruelty. What they uncovered led to the rescue of 88 German Shepherds and the arrest of the ranch’s owner.

But not every dog made it out alive.

According to investigators, video evidence shows a German Shepherd tied to a tree and shot multiple times. The footage was turned over to authorities by a former employee, who said she documented extreme neglect, unethical practices, and criminal acts involving dogs during her time working at the ranch.

The ranch owner was taken into custody as state and federal agencies — including the FBI and the Department of Justice — executed a search warrant on the 80-acre property. Dozens of surviving dogs have since been transported to Florida to begin care and recovery.

Allegations of this severity demand that animal cruelty laws be applied to their fullest extent if guilt is proven.
