Demand Justice For Dogs Found In Alleged Fighting Operation

Dozens of dogs were reportedly discovered in horrific conditions during a dogfighting investigation in Horry County, South Carolina. Investigators say the dogs were chained with heavy logging chains, surrounded by feces and deprived of adequate food, clean water and shelter.

Many of the dogs were underweight and suffering from untreated wounds, injuries and extensive scarring allegedly consistent with dogfighting. Authorities believe the animals were being kept for fighting or used as bait.

Multiple suspects now face numerous animal cruelty, animal fighting and conspiracy charges. No court has yet determined criminal responsibility, but every allegation must be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted.

Dogs should never be forced to fight, suffer or die for entertainment and profit. Sign now to demand justice for these dogs and the strongest penalties available for anyone convicted of involvement in dogfighting.
