Big insurers are robbing Medicare — and Congress already knows it. Reports from members of Congress and watchdogs have confirmed the scam: Medicare Advantage insurers inflate diagnoses, deny care, and siphon billions from a program seniors paid into their entire lives. MedPAC warns that insurers will be overpaid about $76 billion in 2026 alone. Budget analysts project the theft could reach roughly $1.2 trillion over the next decade if Congress keeps dragging its feet. Seniors don’t need another report. They need Congress to do its job. Tell Congress: “Pass legislation now to stop Medicare Advantage fraud, recover taxpayer dollars, and ensure seniors receive better care.” Insurance giants are raking in profits while seniors fight prior authorization roadblocks, shrinking doctor networks, and delayed care. Every dollar stolen through Medicare Advantage fraud is a dollar not spent lowering premiums, expanding dental and vision coverage, or keeping hospitals open. Congress must pass legislation now to shut down Medicare Advantage fraud — close the loopholes insurers exploit, claw back overpayments, impose real penalties, and fix a payment system designed to reward cheating. Bills have already been introduced to cut back on Big Insurance’s fraud, but without public pressure, Congress has failed to pass them. It’s time to change that. Add your name now to demand Congress stop for-profit insurers from wasting our tax dollars on fraud and depriving us of care. The petition to Congress reads: “Pass legislation now to stop Medicare Advantage fraud, recover taxpayer dollars, and ensure seniors receive better care.”
